Outside Facilities

Swimming, boating, picnicking, barbecuing, canoeing and kayaking, or just sunbathing and reading a good book - they're all available at our lovely private waterfront on Otsego Lake. Our sandy beach measures approximately 60 feet long. The width of the beach and size and depth of the swimming area varies based on the amount of rainfall during the season. The swimming area is a roped off shallow area safe for children of all ages. If your family or group needs more space Glimmerglass State Park is just a short drive away. Canoes and kayaks are available free of charge to our guests.

With its picnic tables and grills, our Pavilion is a great place to plan a get-together with your team or family. No matter what the weather - you're covered! The pavilion has a large grill inside on each end, so you don't have to worry about an afternoon rain shower stopping the food from being served.

Croquet anyone? Bocce ball? How about just a late afternoon game of catch? Whatever your pleasure, spend some time on our sun-drenched playing field and watch the boats and seagulls on the lake.

A beautiful view of the lake through the trees is the peaceful vista from the Inn's large deck. Umbrella covered tables and chairs are there for meals or for relaxing with a book or playing a board game available from our hospitality room's library.

Tucked into the woods here and there, you'll find picnic tables and grills where you can gather with friends and family for a summer meal.
